The Fresno City Council will be hosting an inauguration ceremony for Mayor Lee Brand and incoming members Luis Chavez and Garry Bredefeld Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Fresno City Hall.

 

The inauguration will be held in the Council Chamber, where outgoing and incoming council members will be presented with gifts. Returning members Steve Brandau and Paul Caprioglio will also be honored, as well as outgoing member Sal Quintero.

Incoming Council President Clint Olivier stated, “Today is a historic day in the City of Fresno as we celebrate the progress our city has made and look forward to our collaborative work on behalf of the people of Fresno. Congratulations again to all of my colleagues.”
