A new Residence Inn by Marriott Hotel opened in Visalia today, sporting a new brand design that features a more upscale look.

The hotel is located on North Plaza Drive off Highway 198 and will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by RRS Hospitality, right in the Gateway to the Sequoias.

The 95-suite hotel offers one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites designed for stays of five nights or more come with a fully equipped kitchen. The décor is based on organic forms, warm colors and natural light with designs that incorporate a transitional inviting style.

This new hotel offers a seamless blend of modern style and functionality that allows them to settle in and thrive.”

The hotel offers a grocery delivery service, complimentary Wi-Fi, 24-hour onsite food and beverage market, dry cleaning service and onsite guest laundry room.

The hotel throws weeknight evening gatherings where guest can socialize and enjoy premium beers. A meeting room, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center and “Sport Court.”
