Kaweah Delta Medical Center has entered into a partnership with Valley Children’s Medical Group to provide medical staffing for Kaweah Delta’s neonatal intensive care and pediatrics units.

Staffing in the units will continue to be provided by Kaweah Delta and the beds will remain Kaweah Delta beds, however, the partnership will grow the number of neonatologists able to care for babies in the NICU from two to three. It will also bring four neonatal nurse practitioners to the NICU to supplement the neonatologist coverage in the evenings and weekends. Valley Children’s Medical Group will also provide pediatric cardiology and other pediatric specialty coverage.

Marianne Anderson, M.D., and Julianne Randolph, D.O., have been jointly selected by Kaweah Delta and Valley Children’s Medical Group to serve, respectively, as medical directors of the NICU and pediatric services.

“We are confident that this will be a positive and long-term relationship that will help us provide the best care possible to the infants and children at Kaweah Delta,” Lindsay Mann, CEO of Kaweah Delta, said in a statement.
