Downtown Fresno deli and smokehouse Just the Tip announced it will be closing this week.
The catering and take-out restaurant featuring tri-tip, pulled pork and chicken announced plans to close up shop but still continue catering services via a Facebook post Monday morning.
“We have loved being a part of downtown but unfortunately with rising rent, it is no longer possible to keep the restaurant open. Keep an eye on our page for future opportunities to get your Just the Tip fix!!” the post stated.
Owner Sean Dunn moved the restaurant to Mariposa Street in 2017 after debuting across from Community Regional Medical Center in 2016.
For their final week, they are featuring a pastrami BLT on marbled rye with Russian dressing.
