Body del Sol Fresno Medical Spa will be hosting its 4th annual complimentary spa day for patients undergoing treatment for cancer this week.

The event, which is free to patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation, will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It will include spa treatments such as: Harmony facials; chair massages; make-up application by Luxe Day Spa; professional hair/wig styling; diet, nutrition and pain management; a spa lunch and pressed juice samples from Reinvent Juicery and yoga lessons with a focus on cancer therapy.

Door prizes and gift bags will also be available, along with a presentation from an iS representative on its latest skin products. Body del Sol is the only medical spa in Fresno to carry iS Clinical Cancer Care products.

“Every day, we help men and women feel their best in their skin,” said Ayde Mendibles, director of spa operations at Body del Sol. “However, this event means so much more to us. For four years now, different businesses have come together and volunteered their time to put on this wonderful event with us and give these patients a day to feel beautiful during a very hard time in their life.”
