John Migliazzo, an attorney for the Michael J.F. Smith law office, started his one-year term on July 1 as the new president of the Ag One Foundation at Fresno State. Migliazzo, of Fresno, previously served as vice president for Ag One — a development organization for the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology — and has also served as treasurer and secretary on the board of directors.

Jose Sahagun has joined the Big Valley Mortgage family as a loan officer helping his borrowers fulfill the dream of homeownership. With more than 13 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Sahagun works at the BVM Madera office.

TECHNOLOGY

Sandra Cazares, one of Decipher’s first female programmers in the company’s Fresno OFFICE, celebrates 10 years with FocusVision this month, in her role as FocusVision’s programming director. Sandra was born in Mexico City and moved to the United States as a young teenager. She excelled in computer programming and graduated from Fresno State’s computer science program in 2005. She leads a team of more than 50 programmers.

James M. Ford, president and CEO of Central Valley Community Bank, announced the promotion of Christie Long to vice president, branch manager of the downtown Exeter office, located at 300 East Pine Street. Long joined Central Valley Community Bank in 2015 as assistant vice president. She is responsible for the overall branch management of the downtown Exeter office, as well as the development of new personal and business banking relationships. HEALTH CARE

Visalia Medical Clinic announced the addition of family nurse practitioner Kimberly De Jong, FNP-C, a native Visalian with 15 years of experience in health care. De Jong is now providing care at VMC’s QuickCare, working under Alex Torres, MD, and alongside Tate Gordon, PA-C, and Korin Velez, PA. She earned her Masters of Science, Nursing – family nurse practitioner from California State University, Fresno; her bachelor of science from California State University, Bakersfield; her associate degree in nursing and her AA degree from College of the Sequoias. Her professional experience includes six years in the Emergency Department of Kaweah Delta Medical Center; four years in the Maternal Child Health Department of KDMC; and five years in walk-in care clinics.
