The Fresno Compact has announced its winners for the 22nd Annual Business Education Partnership Awards and will recognize ten honorees on March 7.

“Fresno Compact’s Business-Education Partnership Award winners have invested their treasures of time, talent and financial resources into students in Fresno County schools, and gone out of their way to improve the future of our community,” according to a news release. “Whether it is opening the doors of a business to give students real world work experience, mentoring at-risk kids, or ‘adopting’ a program at their local school, this year’s winners clearly recognize the importance of investing in education.”

The awards luncheon will be held March 7 at 11:30 a.m. at Tornino’s Banquet Hall in Fresno. Winners to be recognized include:

-Yribarren Family Vineyards

-McClarty Family

-NutriAg USA

-JR Sports

-Mike Schwann, RSD Total Control

-Donna Meeker Designs

-Island Photography

-PR Farms Inc.

In addition, Sandra Caldwell, the president at Reedley College, will be honored with the Dr. Harold Haak Award for efforts to build connections between schools and businesses.
