Hi-Top Coffee in Fresno’s Tower District will begin selling today its own line of packaged coffee made from beans imported from Colombia, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Peru.

“The way in which we roast the beans is purely for optimal enjoyment, and the result is coffee that is juicy, bright, and exciting,” said Aaron Bagato, co-owner at Hi-Top, which up until had sold only cups of coffee at 1306 N. Wishon Ave.

“This is an important milestone for me personally, as well as for everyone in our shop,” said Bagato, whose has worked for years as a barista. “This is something we’ve been working towards for a while, and it’s fun for us to be bringing our take on the current coffee scene to the Central Valley.

Roasted beans are sold in 10-ounce bags, with prices ranging from $13-$17. Customers can buy coffee in the shop or online at www.hi-topcoffee.com, and wholesale purchases also are available.
