The City of Fresno will open its pools Monday and run daily through August 14.


Standard pool depth ranges from 4 to 12 feet and participants must be 3 years old and at least 4 feet tall. Pools are open daily during the summer for recreation swim from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.  The cost is $1 for children under 18 and $2 for adults.

Swim lessons are available for individuals age three and up.
 
A $30,000 grant from Kaiser Permanente Fresno will provide children with free, daily access to five learner pools from 1-5 p.m. at Fink-White, Pinedale, Quigley, Einstein and Romain Neighborhood Centers.

New this year will be family swim nights at each of the learner pools from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and at Airways Pool on Fridays only from 5 to 8 p.m.
