Trumark Homes has named Marcus Murphy as president of Icon Lending, its affiliated mortgage brokerage based in Fresno.

Murphy succeeds Chris Robson, who had served as president since April 2022, according to Robson’s LinkedIn profile.

Murphy will oversee Icon Lending’s strategic direction, operational performance and growth initiatives.

Before joining Icon Lending, Murphy spent nearly 20 years in leadership roles with Pulte Mortgage and PGP Title, overseeing lending, title, escrow, closing and post-closing operations across the Western U.S.

“Marcus has spent more than two decades in homebuilder financial services and has both a passion for and track record of building high-performing teams,” Trumark Homes Chief Operating Officer Steve Kalmbach said.

Murphy said he plans to focus on people development and operational excellence while improving the customer experience for homebuyers.

“Joining the Icon Lending team is an exciting opportunity and a natural extension of the experience I have gained throughout my career,” Murphy said.

Murphy will be based in Trumark Homes’ Colorado office. Trumark Homes acquired Fresno-based Icon Lending in January 2025.

Trumark Homes is part of the Trumark Group of Companies, a diversified real estate developer and builder that also includes Trumark Communities, Trumark Commercial and Trumark Urban.

The company entered into an agreement with Japan-based Daiwa House Industry Co. Ltd. in 2020, when Daiwa acquired a majority interest in Trumark Homes.
