Fresno Pacific University’s Center for Community Transformation (CCT) is launching a new program aimed at spurring growth for rural entrepreneurs and small business owners starting in 2026.
The Rural Ignite Business Accelerator, which will be free of charge to any interested in attending, will offer Valley entrepreneurs and business owners targeted, expert training on a variety of topics.
“This program is continuing the work that we are already doing in rural communities,” said Bryan Feil, associate director of CCT. “Those who participate will leave with practical tools and resources to apply to their business. They’ll gain one-on-one support and will build a business community to feel heard and valued in.”
Five specialized tracks will be offered beginning in 2026. Participants can choose to attend any number of tracks, including:
- Business Finance Foundations—Financial Clarity for Confident Growth.
- Culinary Pathways—Equipping Food Entrepreneurs for Success.
- Sales Through Service—Serve First. Serve Better.
- Branding/Marketing/Message—Brand with Purpose. Market with Clarity.
- Nonprofit Catalyst—Sharpen Your Focus. Solidify Your Future.
CTT staff worked with rural business leaders to form decisions on which topics would be most helpful to provide training for.
The Rural Ignite Business Accelerator will begin Jan. 14 in Reedley. Future sessions will be held in Selma and online.
