Owner and partner | Haron Motor Sales Inc.

Age: 34

Family: I’m married to the most supportive man, Kevin Lipinski, who works at Community Regional Medical Center. We were married in March of 2018 and welcomed our amazing daughter Hudson in March of 2019.

What we do:

Provide an exceptional experience for Jaguar Land Rover and Volvo sales, service and parts customers.

What is a workday like for you at Haron Jaguar Land Rover Volvo?

Every day I pinch myself walking into the dealership; It seems like a dream. No two days are ever the same, although I do typically enjoy getting to the office early in the mornings. This gives me the opportunity to catch up on emails and dedicate more attention to projects while my mind is fresh and without interruption. I usually grab lunch at one of Downtown’s many amazing restaurants and wind up the day with a recap session with my partners.

Haron is nearing its 75th anniversary. What has working with your family taught you about business?

Seventy-five years is a great accomplishment! We could never have achieved it without being constantly willing to learn. I could write a book on this topic but the one that stands out right now in light of this milestone is how important relationships are in business.

Did you want to get into the car retail business when you were growing up?

I’ve always loved the car business, because, well I always liked going to work with my Dad. And there is always something new. No two days are ever the same. Growing up I wanted to be a veterinarian like every little kid, until I was 11, which was when I started working at the dealership as a paper filer and phone answering extraordinaire. From that time there was never any question where I would steer my career.

What are some of the trends going on in the car industry right now that will attract car buyers?

As a member of the California New Car Dealers Association board of directors, this is a topic that comes up often. Recently, electric vehicles have been a big topic of conversation. It’s a hot topic worldwide, but especially in California. In my opinion, the sheer convenience of not having to stop at a gas station will attract consumers. Not to mention the substantial rebates and tax credits available. Our brands, Jaguar Land Rover and Volvo, all offer electric hybrid vehicles.

Haron has recently acquired Volvo Fresno and other dealers are moving around or selling. What is causing the local shakeup for auto dealers?

The automotive industry is constantly evolving: manufacturers change requirements and their product mix; consumers desire change; legislation even contributes. For us, the addition of Volvo’s exceptional car line gives us more opportunity to continue providing a great customer experience to our new and existing clients.

Can you tell us a little about your family’s vision for Downtown Fresno?

This is a topic I’m very passionate about. I am currently the chairwoman of the board of directors for The Downtown Fresno Partnership, whose core mission is a clean and safe downtown Fresno, which we are achieving. Building upon that, we have wonderful restaurants, unique retail, fun family experiences and thriving businesses. I would like to see more economic development and more housing.

What do you have all the time in the world for: Family and strategizing

I have no patience for: Dishonesty and lack of integrity

What are you roots in the Central Valley?

I was born and raised here, went to school here, all the way through Fresno State where I graduated with a degree in business management. My family is here, my business is here, my heart is here.

What was your first job and what did you learn from it?

My first job was working for the dealership — work permit and all. I learned how much I enjoy the business I’m in and working with and alongside my Dad, Jim.

What do you like to do on your free time?

What free time? JOKING! I love spending time with my family. Watching my daughter grow has been the greatest blessing. I also enjoy traveling, hanging out with friends and the occasional golf game.
