Dutch Bros Coffee and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley are teaming up Friday, Aug. 28, for a fundraiser supporting families with critically ill children receiving care at nearby hospitals.

The Dutch Bros Foundation will donate $1 for every drink sold at more than 35 participating Dutch Bros locations throughout the Central Valley, according to a news release. Proceeds will support RMHC Central Valley’s Dollars for Dinner Campaign, which helps provide daily meals to families staying at the House.

What’s happening

The participating locations stretch across the Central Valley, including stores in Reedley, Lemoore, Hanford, Kingsburg, Selma, Madera, Merced, Tulare, Porterville and other communities. Locations in Bakersfield, Modesto, Turlock and surrounding cities are also participating.

The Dollars for Dinner Campaign provides funding for meals when volunteer groups are unavailable to cook for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley.

Why it matters

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley provides lodging and other resources for children and their families. The organization said proceeds from the Dutch Bros fundraiser will help ensure families staying at the House continue receiving meals while their children undergo medical care.

“Partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley for this giveback is a deeply meaningful way to support our local community members,” said Claire Beatie, regional operator at Dutch Bros.
