Delray Tire and Retreading has acquired Atwater Tire Service in Atwater.

Delray Tire and Retreading is a family-owned and operated business with locations in Fresno, Hanford, Tulare and Stockton. Founded by Ralph and Mary Mastriano more than 20 years ago, Delray Tire is now a second-generation family business.

“For 50 years, Atwater Tire has provided the community of Atwater and the surrounding areas with exemplary service and has earned the trust of their customers,” said Erin Mastriano. “It is because of the stellar reputation of Atwater Tire and the Bianchi family, that we became interested in this opportunity.”

The addition of Atwater provides Delray Tire customers with five convenient locations and a total of 17 service trucks that provide 24-hour emergency road service 365 days a year.

The company offers the latest technology to customers, including the BFA Fleet Analyzer, which allows them to survey fleet and provide instant analysis of customer’s needs.

The expansion into the Atwater market fills a void in Delray Tires service coverage area. With existing stores in Fresno, Hanford, Tulare and Stockton, Delray Tire fortifies their position in the commercial tire market and allows them to provide full service capabilities from north of Bakersfield to beyond Lodi.

“This transition is also expected to result in greater efficiencies and significantly increase” Delray’s market share, according to a release issued by the company.

Delray Tire operates a state of the art Bandag Retread manufacturing plant in Fresno. The company’s Fresno plant is the only independently owned ISO 9001:2008 Certified Retread plant in the western United States.

Their plant uses the latest BASYS Retread Tire Management System, which allows them to track all of their customer’s tires throughout the retread process, as well as collect data to answer questions about their fleet.
