A new holiday event is coming to Clovis this December filled with winter family fun.

Skye Dreams, the Valley’s first drone-light show company, and Fresno Street Eats, the popular mobile food event promotion, have partnered to bring the “Holi-drone” Christmas light show to the community Dec. 6-8. The Christmas-themed drone show will be accompanied by food trucks, shopping vendors, free pictures with Santa and more.

Founded by Terry and Deb Toews, who previously organized and produced Santa Claus Lane in Clovis, Skye Dreams uses the Verge Aero drone technology popularized on “America’s Got Talent,” with the show imagined, created and flown by the Skye Dreams team.

“We know people in the Central Valley love Christmas lights shows,” Terry and Deb Toews said. “Now we’re excited to give families an experience unlike anything they’ve ever seen here locally.”

Located at the Clovis Rodeo Grounds, the event will go for three days and feature drone light shows every hour from 6 – 8:30 p.m., with holiday activities happening between the drone shows, including live music.

Cost of admittance is $15 for adults and $5 for children, and tickets can be purchased online. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for the event.
