Fresno leaders are joining faculty members at Fresno Pacific University to tell “The Fresno Story” at the Social Capital Marketing SOCAP16 conference Sept. 13-16 in San Francisco.


Presenters include Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin, Bitwise Academy co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Irma Olguin, Jr., Peeves Public House and Local Market owner Craig Scharton, and FPU associate professor and executive director of the Center for Community Transformation Randy White.

According to its website, SOCAP is “a network of heart-centered investors, entrepreneurs, and social impact leaders who believe in an inclusive and socially responsible economy to address the world’s toughest challenges.”

Since 2008, SOCAP has created a platform where social impact leaders can connect and present their ideas to a global audience.
