The Business Journal is up for three 1st or 2nd-place awards in the following categories: Health Care 2015 special section, online general excellence and coverage of business news.
The business news story was written by reporter George Lurie, and details a local self defense course aimed at real estate professionals.
The 1st and 2nd-place winners of the 2015 Better Newspapers Contest will be announced during the press association’s 2016 summit April 27-30 in San Francisco.
The Business Journal also received three 3rd or 4th-place awards, also called Blue Ribbon Finalists. The Blue Ribbon awards came in the following categories: agricultural reporting, coverage of business news and general excellence.
