Lemoore’s Surf Ranch will be the venue of another surfing competition in September that will feature a concert by blink-182.
The Surf Ranch Pro event will run Sept. 6-9. It will be the second professional surfing competition hosted at the artificial-wave facility that is open to the public. The first one, the Founders Cup, took place in May.

The event will feature competition among 36 men and 18 women surfing professionals as well as a festival-like atmosphere with DJs, food and drink vendors, beach games and more. On Sept. 8, blink-182 will take the stage after the day’s surfing competition.
“We have played a lot of cool interesting places but nothing quite like this,” according to a statement attributed to the band. “We look forward to playing for the best of the surf community in such an epic location.”
Full event general admission packages (Friday – Sunday) start at $199 for adults. Daily passes are $99 each. VIP passes are also available at $499 for the full event.
