AXIS Coffee Bar + Eatery in Tesoro Viejo has closed after eight years in business, according to an Instagram post by the restaurant Monday morning.
The eatery opened in 2018 with the goal of creating a gathering place for the community, offering food, hospitality in the master-planned Tesoro Viejo community in Madera County.

Over the course of the eight years, the business has hosted families, weddings, anniversaries, community events and holiday celebrations.
“After eight unforgettable years, AXIS Coffee Bar + Eatery has closed its doors,” the Instagram post stated.
The team thanked customers for loyalty, support and patronage, saying the restaurant had become more than a coffee bar and eatery.
“You’ve made it part of a community we’ll always cherish,” the message stated.
AXIS described its menu as featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, combining familiar dishes with new twists. The business positioned itself as a destination for casual meals, special occasions and community gatherings.
The closure marks the end of an eight-year chapter for the eatery and its role in the Tesoro Viejo community.
