AGCO will open a new 115,000-square-foot Parts Distribution Center in Visalia on Sept. 1, more than doubling the size of the agricultural equipment manufacturer’s existing operation in the region.

The expanded facility will replace AGCO’s existing Visalia location and is intended to increase parts availability and speed deliveries to farmers and dealers across the western United States, according to a company news release. A grand opening is planned for the first quarter of 2027.

Located in California’s Central Valley and visible from the Golden State Highway, the distribution center will give AGCO additional capacity to stock high-demand parts closer to its western customers.

The operation will support AGCO’s full portfolio of brands, including Fendt and Massey Ferguson.

“We reimagined every step of how parts move, from receiving to shipping, and built the systems to match, including advanced automation, smarter forecasting and a deeper local inventory,” said Stefan Caspari, senior vice president, customer success and North American ag, AGCO.

The company said the facility includes vertical lift modules, high-density narrow-aisle racking and dedicated storage for oversized components. It also features rooftop solar power and electric vehicle charging stations.

AGCO said the project resulted from four years of network analysis, design and collaboration across its global organization. The company designed the center to accommodate regional needs and its e-commerce growth for more than 20 years.

Visalia places the expanded distribution operation in the heart of the Central Valley’s agricultural economy and closer to California growers and equipment dealers.

AGCO said its expanded stocking capacity, warehouse automation and forecasting capabilities will allow it to carry a broader range of parts locally.

Pat O’Neill, VP, Ag & Lift of Quinn Company, said the location could improve the speed at which dealers obtain parts for customers.
