A former CVS Pharmacy building in West Fresno has been acquired by Family HealthCare Network.

The 24,368-square-foot building at 4077 W. Clinton Ave. sits on 2.37 acres at the southwest corner of Clinton and Brawley avenues. It is part of a shopping center anchored by Save Mart. National tenants, such as Taco Bell and Burger King, are also located in the shopping center.

The seller, Greg Antognoli of Antognoli Group LLC, was represented by Patrick Monreal of Saito Company. Chad Vawter, deputy CEO of Family HealthCare Network, was represented in the purchase by Luke Tessman and Phil Souza of Newmark Pearson Commercial. Sale terms were not disclosed.

Antognoli originally purchased the property in May. The store closed in September 2023.

“When we originally acquired the former CVS property in Southwest Fresno, our strategic vision was to backfill the space with a major national retailer or corporate tenant,” Antognoli said. “The location, situated within an established shopping center, offered a strong foundation for redevelopment and long-term value creation through a high-credit tenant.”

Antognoli said the original intent was to attract a national retailer, but the proposal from Family HealthCare Network shifted the company’s outlook.

“During the course of our marketing efforts and tenant discussions, we were approached by Family HealthCare Network, whose interest in the site aligned closely with the evolving needs of the surrounding community. Ultimately, while a traditional retail lease would have met our initial financial goals, we felt that working with Family HealthCare Network would have a more meaningful, lasting impact on the area,” Antognolli said. “Their commitment to community wellness and accessible care made them the right fit—not just for the site, but for Southwest Fresno as a whole.”
