America’s Tire has opened a new store in Clovis, hoping to continue meeting the demands for tires and wheels in Fresno County.

The store, located at 525 W. Herndon Ave., marks the company’s second location in Clovis, joining the original America’s Tire at 925 Clovis Ave.

America’s Tire offers free tire repair and air pressure checks as well as other tire and wheel services ranging from replacement to chains and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) accessories.

Since 2013, America’s Tire has seen exponential growth, surpassing 1,100 stores and 37 states in 2021, according to a news release. The Clovis location marks America’s Tire’s 113th California store.

America’s Tire also has two Fresno locations.

America’s Tire does business as Discount Tire in most of the U.S., and is known as America’s Tire in other parts of California. In 2021, America’s Tire acquired Tire Rack, a direct-to-consumer tire retailer and distributor.

Customers can reach the new store at (559) 701-2216 or by stopping by from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The store is closed on Sundays.
