Full Circle Brewing Co. in Downtown Fresno is hosting a unique car show Saturday called “Malaise Daze.”
Instead of shiny lowriders or hot rods, the Malaise Daze Car Show will feature vehicles made from 1972-1995 — during the so-called “Malaise” era of auto manufacturing when heavy regulation brought a renewed focus on fuel efficiency.
Organized by Fresnan Bryan Davis and Chuck Sherman, administrators of the Malaise Motors Facebook page, the event will feature craft beer and “unique vendors from all over Fresno,” according to a news release.
Admission is free, and people wanting to submit their vehicle made from 1972-1995 can pay $10 to organizers at the event, which starts at 11 a.m.
“The cars of this era are ‘Malaise’ in name only,” Davis said in a statement. “It’s time they had a show that gives them the acknowledgement they deserve.”
Full Circle Brewing Co. is located at 620 F St. in Fresno.
