Fans of professional wrestling will have an opportunity to “have a nice day” this Saturday in Downtown Fresno as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Famer and hardcore legend Mick Foley makes an appearance at a local collectibles shop.

Chunko Pop, located at 1419 M St., Studio 101, in Fresno, will host the three-time WWE Champion who also wrestled under the names Dude Love, Mankind and Cactus Jack. Foley’s career in wrestling began in 1986 and spanned more than 25 years.

Known for his “hardcore” style wrestling, and often subjecting himself to death-defying stunts to the adoration of his fans, Foley, 58, will be returning to Fresno for the first time since his appearance at the Selland Arena in 2000 — a hardcore match against X-Pac that ended in a no contest decision and a backstage brawl.

From noon to 3 p.m. on Oct. 7, fans will have the opportunity to purchase packages including autographs and photo ops, including a VIP package available which includes multiple autograph opportunities. A limited amount of Funko Pops figurines will also be available for signing.

Packages offering single autograph or photo op start at $60, with a combo option costing $100. A VIP package including three signatures and a photo with Foley will also be available for $150.

VIP packages are limited to first-come first-serve availability. VIP ticket holders will be given priority entrance.

Tickets go on sale Thursday at Chunko Pop and are available online at chunko-pop.myshopify.com.
