On Thursday, Sizzler will host the grand opening for its newly-renovated restaurant in Visalia, featuring live entertainment, exclusive Sizzler merchandise giveaways and a ribbon cutting ceremony.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 4, the restaurant will welcome guests back to its 2121 W. Caldwell Ave. location in Visalia to celebrate the reopening.

Performances by the Sycamore Valley Academy’s band, choir and poetry group, as well as face painting, community donations and Sizzler merchandise giveaways will highlight the event.

“The newly renovated Visalia location will feature a spacious, revamped dining room with a contemporary look that celebrates Sizzler’s California-born heritage; along with remodeled booths, electronic menu boards, improved acoustics and a fully upgraded salad bar,” a news release from Sizzler said. “An updated dessert bar is also on the menu—full of family-favorite new items like freshly-baked brownies and an enhanced ice cream topping station.”

The grand opening kicks off a ten-day special food deal, with guests at Sizzler receiving free access to the salad bar with the purchase of any steak.

In February, Sizzler celebrated the grand reopening of its Fresno location on Shaw Avenue.

Sizzler was founded in 1958 in Culver City by Del and Helen Johnson and has 77 locations throughout the West Coast and Puerto Rico, including 51 in California.
