Ono Hawaiian BBQ has been on a tear bringing the taste of aloha to the masses. Now it is preparing to open its 100th location — in Visalia.
The location at 708 S. Mooney Blvd. will be the site of an “in-store luau” Friday to celebrate the corporate chain’s 100th location. Founded in Southern California in 2002, Ono Hawaiian BBQ currently has three Fresno locations.
The grand opening event will include Hawaiian dancers, deals and giveaways — including memorabilia pins and giveaway scratchers that will be available at all locations while supplies last.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be opening our 100th Ono BBQ location and celebrating this milestone,” said Joshua Liang, Ono Hawaiian BBQ CEO. “This achievement would not be possible without our loyal customers who’ve shown their love for our food and brand.”
The Southern California-based eatery originally planned to hit more than 100 locations back in 2020, according to a restaurantnews.com article. It reached an average 10.62% same-store-sales (stores open at least a year) increase and a 28.77% overall increase in 2019.Image via Ono Hawaiian BBQ Facebook page
