Valley Children’s Hospital and a Fresno-Clovis solar company are teaming up on an open house for the hospital’s Adaptive Sports Program.

The open house, which will be held at the Bland Solar & Air showroom at the Willow Station shopping center at the southeast corner of Willow and Nees avenues from 5 to 8 p.m. July 19, is being put on in tandem with the solar firm.

The address is 1177 N Willow Ave. in Clovis.

In addition to the open house, Bland Solar will also be collecting items from the adaptive sports wish list for their programs. These items include: towels, sunscreen, pool noodles, duct tape (any color), dry erase markers (black, red and blue) and monetary donations.

Adaptive Sports is a Valley Children’s Hospital program that provides free recreational and athletic experiences for people with disabilities who are up to age 21.

Bland Solar  is a company specializing in residential and commercial solar panel installations.
