The Good Feet Store stepped into its 25th anniversary in Fresno on March 1, celebrating more than two decades of helping people walk, run and work better.

Founded by Larry and Beth Schneider on March 1, 2001, the business has grown from an unknown retail concept to being the local leader in personally fitted arch supports and a staunch advocate for foot health.

The Schneiders have grown their business locally while being actively involved with the Good Feet franchise nationally over the past 25 years, earning the company’s “Award of Excellence.”

In November 2025, the Schneiders were inducted into The Good Feet Store Hall of Fame for their contributions to the franchise.

Larry Schneider, owner of The Good Feet Store in Fresno and Visalia, opened the first store with the confidence that the products could help others find the relief he had experienced.

“Our community has been built by people who work on their feet all day—from our food and fiber producers to educators teaching the next generation and the farming community feeding the world, Larry said. “Supporting local charities and individuals isn’t just about giving back; it’s about taking care of the people who take care of our local communities.”

The stores have been active in the community, consistently aligning its mission of health and wellness with the needs of local residents. They have supported several charities over the years including Valley Children’s Hospital, Fresno Chaffee Zoo, the American Heart Association, Blood Cancer United and the Ronald McDonald House to name a few.

They have also had multi-year partnerships with the Fresno Grizzlies and Fresno State Bulldogs.

Through a national “Feet for Thought” initiative, The Good Feet Store recognized teachers of the Central Valley and honor the Valley’s “unsung heroes’’—veterans, first responders and health care workers through on-going, in-store programs.

Beth, who serves as general manager and director of marketing, also represents the franchise on a national stage with her blog “In Step With Beth”, sharing her passion the company’s work.

“We love what we do, but we wouldn’t be here, celebrating 25 years of success, without the dedication of our team and the trust of the community,” said Beth. “We’re looking forward to continuing to be an integral part of the lives of everyone here in the Central Valley, helping folks walk better, run better and work better.”

In addition to its retail operations, The Good Feet Store offers employer direct services, including employee voucher programs, safety meeting presentation, and on-site fittings, supporting a safe and comfortable workplace for local businesses, according to a news release.

Founded in 1992 in Southern California, The Good Feet Store has nearly 300 retail locations in the U.S. and abroad.
