Fresno Star Trek fans are reeling with anticipation as the release date for Star Trek Beyond approaches. As if another action-packed J.J. Abrams’ film wasn’t enough to mount the excitement, die-hard trekkies can now look forward to seeing parts of the movie panoramic style across three wide screens.
Sierra Vista Cinemas 16 in Clovis is one of just a few locations in the state to feature Barco Escape technology and one of only a handful worldwide that will be showing the new Star Trek adventure in the Barco Escape format.
The local cinema debuted the Barco Escape screens last fall with showings of Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
