Dutch Bros is celebrating its annual “Dutch Luv Day” in the Central Valley Friday by partnering with a local food bank to support hunger relief in the area.
Dutch Bros is donating $1 to the Fresno-based Central California Food Bank from every Dutch Bros drink sold today at nearly a dozen drive-thru locations in Fresno, Clovis, Sanger and Madera.
For every $1 donated, the Food Bank can help provide up to four meals, according to a news release.
This is the 17th year Dutch Bros has held its “Dutch Luv Day” drive to support organizations fighting food insecurity, with the first one starting as a canned food drive in 2007. In 2022, Dutch Bros donated more than $800,000 to hunger relief efforts throughout its 380 locations in seven states.
Last year, Dutch Bros customers donated more than $25,000 to the Food Bank, providing more than 175,000 meals to people in need in Central California.
