A Central Coast pizza franchise has made its way to Fresno, with a grand opening planned for Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Fatte’s Pizza originated in the San Luis Obispo-area in the 1970s, according to a news release from the office of Fresno City Councilmember Esmeralda Soria, in whose District 1 the franchise is located.
Fatte’s Pizza of Fresno is located at 2767 W. Shaw Ave. The Tuesday grand opening is scheduled from 4-5 p.m.
The shop is owned by Ryan Broussard and Kayla Hagood. Broussard worked at the Grover Beach location since 2004.
“A lot of people from the Central Valley vacation in the Central Coast. They frequently asked when will Fatte’s Pizza make its way to Fresno,” Broussard said in a statement.
