The latest report from CoreLogic put the rate of Fresno Valley foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans at 0.49 percent for July, a decrease of 0.16 percentage points compared with July 2015.
Foreclosure activity in Fresno was lower than the national foreclosure rate, which was 0.93 percent for July.
Also in Fresno, the mortgage delinquency rate decreased. According to CoreLogic data for July, 2.01 percent of mortgage loans were 90 days or more delinquent compared with 2.41 percent for the same period last year.
In the Madera area foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans was 0.55 percent for July, a decrease of 0.33 percentage points compared with July 2015.
The mortgage delinquency rate also decreased in Madera in July. According to CoreLogic data, 2.28 percent of mortgage loans were 90 days or more delinquent compared with 3.01 percent for the same period last year.
Hanford-Corcoran area foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans was 0.58 percent for July, a decrease of 0.23 percentage points compared with July 2015.
Also in Hanford-Corcoran, the mortgage delinquency rate decreased. According to CoreLogic data for July, 2.52 percent of mortgage loans were 90 days or more delinquent compared with 3.30 percent for the same period last year.
Visalia-Porterville area foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans was 0.51 percent for July, a decrease of 0.21 percentage points compared with July 2015.
The mortgage delinquency rate also decreased in the Porterville-Visalia area. According to CoreLogic data for July, 2.15 percent of mortgage loans were 90 days or more delinquent compared with 2.64 percent for the same period last year.
