Registration for the 35th Central California Women’s Conference (CCWC) in Fresno is now open.

This year’s CCWC welcomes Emmy Award Winning actress, producer, activist mother and diva Sheryl Lee Ralph as the event’s lunchtime keynote presenter. The event, which will take place Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. is the largest women’s event in the region.

Ralph’s career spans more than four decades of screen and stage performances, including her role of Barbara Gordon on the hit comedy series Abbott Elementary. Ralph won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress on the series.

This year’s CCWC theme is Sparkle at Every Stage, calling attendees to embrace where they are today with pride and confidence.

Attendees will have the opportunity to choose between three breakout sessions from 21 options covering career development, health and fitness, money and finance, relationships, courage and more.

“Each year our team really looks and listens to the needs of the community,” said CCWC Board President Teri Amerine. “This year’s lineup is sure to offer something for everyone.”

Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit the Marketplace and Community Corner, featuring more than 175 local businesses and nonprofits. Visitors will be treated to samples, tastings, information and more.

Attendees will have the opportunity to come together to laugh and relax with the return of the self-proclaimed “crazy dog lady,” Karen Mills, who had audiences roaring with laughter during her presentation at the 2018 CCWC.

“CCWC offers a day of information, networking, fun, a little ‘retail therapy’ and maybe a few surprises for the hard-working women of this Valley,” Amerine added.

Tickets to the event are $135 beginning Tuesday, and will increase to $150 on August 1. Tickets are limited to the first 3,500 attendees. Early registration is encouraged.

For tickets, visit the CCWC website.
