Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Central Valley hosted its annual Red Heart Ball earlier this month, generating over $435,000 to support families served by the Central Valley arm of the nonprofit.
This year’s event marked the 17th annual event, and highlighted the continued support from donors, sponsors and community leaders who assist in keeping families close together during medical crises.
“We are so grateful for our supporters and their incredible generosity,” said RMHC Central Valley Executive Director Dr. Kent Karsevar. “Because of them, we can continue providing comfort, care, and critical support to families with hospitalized children when they need it most.”
The evening was highlighted by the presentation of the “Heart of the House” award, given to Valley Wide Beverage. The award honors individuals and organizations who go above and beyond financial support, supporting the charity’s mission in meaningful and impactful ways.
Sponsored by Cargill and Lyons Magnus, the Red Heart Ball also featured entertainment from Ralph Edwards and The VibeCheck Band, as well as a live auction, with proceeds benefitting families staying at RMHC Central VAlley, providing access to vital resources.
Next year’s event is scheduled for Feb. 20, 2027. Sponsorships are available by visiting the RMHC Central Valley website.
