The Visalia Rawhide have revealed their latest alternative identity, taking the field as the Central Valley Sir Loins for select games this season, paying tribute to the region’s thriving agricultural production.
The Sir Loins will be decked out in a black hat with a purple brim and new mascot Sir Loin — a grilled steak complete in royal attire and baseball crown — gracing the front of the caps. His uniform will also feature Central Valley representation through a “CV” logo.
The 2026 Rawhide season — under the slogan “Savor The Season” — will feature multiple Sir Loins giveaways, kicking off with the first 100 members of Tipper’s Kid’s Club receiving Sir Loins jerseys during the Rawhide’s contest against the Fresno Grizzlies on Sunday, April 5.
Additional Sir Loins giveaways will take place on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, when the team will take on the Inland Empire 66ers.
The Rawhide will transform into the Sir Loins for all Saturday games during the 2026 season.
Sir Loins merchandise is available at the Rawhide’s online team store and will be available at Valley Strong Ballpark starting on April 3 — opening day for the minor league team.
The Visalia Rawhide are the Single-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The team plays all of their home games at Valley Strong Ballpark located at 300 N. Giddings St., in Visalia.
