Updated 2/6/25: Update reflects the opening information on Fresno/Clovis Randy’s Donut locations
A third Randy’s Donuts store looks to be coming to the Fresno-Clovis area, even as fans eagerly await the chain’s local debut.
A report obtained by The Business Journal Tuesday shows a lease for 1195 Shaw Ave., Suite 101, in Clovis north of Sierra Vista Mall from Red Mountain Asset Fund I, LLC, to Randy’s Donuts.
The 1,110 square-foot site was most recently home to Yummiez Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt, which closed its doors late last year.
Last year, Randy’s Donuts announced plans to open two Fresno locations, and previewed hopes to open an additional 10 locations in the Central Valley within the next two years.
Anticipated openings for the two Fresno stores at 2369 E. Shaw Ave., near Fresno State, and 786 W. Bullard Ave., have been pushed back for several months.
The iconic store, known for the large doughnut on the roof of the original location in Inglewood and others in the Los Angeles area, opened in 1953.
The Business Journal first reported plans for the shop in 2023, when Randy’s Donuts signed a lease on a 5,000 square-foot building near Highway 99 to function as the store’s commissary.
A representative from the store said Thursday morning that there is currently no target opening date for the three locations, but that news about the stores’ grand openings should be coming soon.
