Regular Meeting, October 6, 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the Fowler City Council will hold a hearing at the City Hall Council Chamber at 128 S. 5th Street, Fowler, California to consider the following:
1. Zoning Text Amendment No. 20-01 (Various Text Updates) proposing to amend Title 9, Chapter 5, Article 21, Section 5 and Title 9, Chapter 5, Article 7, Section 715 of the Fowler Municipal Code to clarify the height and setback standards relating to accessory structures such as playgrounds and fireplaces in the R-1 zone. The text amendment also proposes to amend Sections 9-5.1003, 9.5.1005, 9-5.1203, 9-5.1705 to permit grocery stores by-right in commercial and form-based zones and to restrict the size of variety stores. The amendment proposes to alter Section 9-5.1402 to permit automobile repair by right in the M-1 zone, and Section 9-5.1503 to clarify that agricultural uses are not permitted in the M-2 zone. The application includes a proposed finding of exemption from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3)). These amendments were presented to the Planning Commission at their regular meeting on September 3, 2020 and are recommended by the Commission.
The Council requests your participation and the public is welcome to speak at the hearing on the project or the environmental document. If you challenge any City Council action in court, you may be limited to challenge only those issues raised at the City Council hearing.
This meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provision of Paragraph 11 of the Governor’s Executive Order N-25-20 which suspends certain requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act, and as a response to mitigating the spread of COVID-19, the meeting will not be open to the public.

The Fresno County Board of Supervisors is giving notice that at their regularly scheduled meeting on October 20, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the Fresno County Hall of Records, Board of Supervisors Chambers, 3rd Floor, 2281 Tulare Street, Fresno, California, they will consider adoption of the ordinance summarized below.
SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
The Ordinance will amend the Fresno County Master Schedule of Fees, Charges and Recovered Costs, by amending Subsection 2609 of Section 2600, which relates to fees charged to recover costs of contract services provided by Sheriff’s Department personnel to other agencies and entities.

NOTICE is hereby given that at its regularly scheduled meeting on September 22, 2020, the Fresno County Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 20-017, an Ordinance of the County of Fresno, State of California.
SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE
This Ordinance amends Section 1600Human Resources of the Fresno County Master Schedule of Fees, Charges, and Recovered Costs, where subsection 1601 is revised relating to the recovery of costs of services provided by Human Resources to County departments and other external agencies.
