NEGATIVE DECLARATION
Notice is hereby given that the County of Fresno has prepared Initial Study (IS) No. 8603 pursuant to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act for the following proposed project:
UNCLASSIFIED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. 3807 and INITIAL STUDY NO. 8603 filed by MIKE KOCHERGEN proposing to allow operation of a grease and cooking oil separation and recovery facility, at an existing site where used cooking oil disposal and grease trap pumping is presently occurring; located on a 9.35-acre parcel in the M-1(Light Manufacturing) Zone District. The subject parcel is located on the west side of N. Brawley Avenue between W. Franklin Avenue and W. Nielsen Avenue, and approximately one-quarter mile west of the nearest city limits of the City of Fresno (APN 326-050-28S) (445 N. Brawley) (SUP. DIST. 1). Adopt the Negative Declaration prepared for Initial Study No. 8603, and take action on Unclassified CUP Application No. 3807 with Findings and Conditions. (hereafter, the “Proposed Project”)
The County intends to adopt the Negative Declaration prepared for Initial Study No. 8603, and take action on Unclassified Conditional Use Permit Application No. 3807 with Findings and Conditions.
The Initial Study has concluded that it is appropriate to adopt a Negative Declaration for the Proposed Project. The purpose of this Notice is to (1) provide notice of the availability of IS No. 8603 and the draft Negative Declaration, and request written comments thereon; and (2) provide notice of the public hearing regarding the Proposed Project.

The County of Fresno will receive written comments on the Proposed Project and Negative Declaration from September 10, 2025 through October 9, 2025.

Notice of Closure for Pediatric Specialty Clinic
The Pediatric Specialty Clinic located at 215 N. Fresno Street, Suite 370 in Fresno will permanently close effective December 1, 2025. This includes all services, including Cardiology, Adult Congenital Heart, Pulmonology, Cystic Fibrosis (Pediatric and Adult) Endocrinology, Dysautonomia Clinic, Neurology, Neuromuscular Clinic for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Gastroenterology, High Risk Infant Follow-Up (HRIF), Nephrology, Allergy, Hematology, and Rheumatology.

NOTICE to bidders
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the State Center Community College District (“District”) invites and will receive sealed bids (“Bids”) from general contractors (“Contractor(s)” or “Bidder(s)”) for the furnishing to District of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for the following project (“Project”):
PROJECT NAME: FORUM HALL REROOF & HVAC REPLACEMENT, FRESNO CITY COLLEGE, BID 2526-06
PROJECT SCOPE: Scope or work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: asbestos abatement, removal and replacement of existing roofing materials, removal and replacement of (3) rooftop air handler units, associated ductwork, platforms, and electrical power, removal and replacement of existing thermostats, removal and replacement of two (2) water pumps as per project bid specifications.
BIDS DUE:
Bids will be received no later than October 9, 2025 prior to 2:00 pm, via PlanetBids.
All bids shall be submitted electronically through PlanetBids Vendor portal to be accepted. Incomplete, late, inaccurate, or untrue responses or information provided therein by a bidder shall be grounds for the District to reject such submissions for non-responsiveness. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 calendar days from the Due Date.

Bids must be complete and responsive to all portions of the Contract Documents. Bids must be submitted on the District’s Bid Forms. Any addenda will be posted on PlanetBids (“Website”). The District does not assume any liability or responsibility based on any defective or incomplete copying, excerpting, scanning, faxing, downloading, or printing of the Bid Documents. DISTRICT’S RIGHT TO REJECT:
District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process.
Any claim by Bidder that its Bid contains an error, or request for relief from its Bid, made after the time for opening of Bids, must be made in compliance with Public Contract Code section 5100 et seq. Upon written request, Bidder may withdraw its Bid prior to the time for opening of Bids without forfeiting its Bid Security.
