The Ordinance adopted new section 2.62.040 of the Fresno County Ordinance Code to limit campaign contributions to candidates for County elective office from all persons to $30,000 per election. The Ordinance also amended section 2.62.055 to include making it a misdemeanor to violate the provisions of section 2.62.040 and providing for penalties of a fine up to $1,000 or imprisonment for up to six months, or both.
