Notice is hereby given that the County of Fresno has prepared Initial Study (IS) No. 8022 pursuant to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act for the following proposed project:
INITIAL STUDY NO. 8022 and CLASSIFIED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. 3700 filed by NARINDER SAHOTA, proposing to allow the construction and operation of an Agricultural Commercial Center, consisting of an approximately 7,058 square-foot convenience store and fast-food restaurant, along with two fueling islands, on a portion of a 3.28-acre parcel in the AE-20 (Exclusive Agricultural, 20-acre minimum parcel size) Zone District. The subject parcel is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of W. Mountain View Avenue and S. Highland Avenue (State Route 43), approximately one half-mile south of the nearest city limits of the City of Selma (APN: 393-101-34S) (9077 E. Mountain View Avenue).
Adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for Initial Study No. 8022, and take action on Classified CUP No. 3700 with Findings and Conditions.

The County of Fresno has determined that it is appropriate to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Proposed Project. The purpose of this Notice is to (1) provide notice of the availability of IS No.8022 and the draft Mitigated Negative Declaration, and request written comments thereon; and (2) provide notice of the public hearing regarding the Proposed Project.
