Notice is hereby given that the Fresno Unified School DISTRICT (“DISTRICT”) will receive sealed bids for Bid No. 25-32, Rowell Elementary School Playground Replacements, to replace existing preschool, kindergarten, and primary playgrounds with district standard equipment, including shade canopies, rubber play surfacing and ADA upgrades.
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 1770 et seq of the California Labor Code, each worker of the contractor and any of its subcontractors engaged in work on the Project shall be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5, the DIR established a Contractor Registration Program, in which no contractor or subcontractor shall bid on, be listed in a bid, or engage in the performance of any public work contract without being registered.
Prime Contractor must have a valid Class “B” Contractor’s License.
The time allowed for completion for the project shall be 90 Calendar days.
The Architect/Engineers’ estimate for this project is around $1,193,000 (not inclusive of $25,000 allowance).
A MANDATORY pre-bid conference has been scheduled at 10:00 AM, March 26, 2025 in front of the Administration Office at Rowell Elementary School, 3460 E. Mckenzie Ave, Fresno, CA 93702. Contractors bidding as a Prime Contractor for the project must attend in order for their bid to be “responsive”. Immediately following the pre-bid conference will be a mandatory job-walk of the site(s). School sites are using the Raptor visitor management system that requires all visitors to show either a government-issued identification card or driver’s license to receive a badge and enter the campus. Bidders may arrive earlier than the scheduled time to obtain their badge.
This Project is estimated to be over $1,000,000 and is subject to prequalification, in accordance with Public Contract Code 20111.6. All Bidders performing as either a General Engineering Contractor (A license), General Building Contractor (B license), Electrical Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, or Plumbing Contractor utilized as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor must be prequalified prior to submitting bids on this project. For purpose of prequalification, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Contractors are Contractors pursuant to Section 7058 of the Business and Professions Code inclusive of: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46 licenses. Prequalified Prime Contractor may self-perform electrical, plumbing, mechanical work if prequalified under applicable licenses. Prequalification applications are to be submitted through Quality Bidders at https://www.qualitybidders.com/ no later than 11:59 PM, April 2, 2025. Prequalification status is valid for one (1) calendar year for any subsequent projects requiring prequalification.
Sealed Bids must be received prior to 2:00 P.M. on April 17, 2025 on Procureware, the DISTRICT’s online bidding portal, after which time the bids will be opened and bid results posted.
Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or a bidder’s bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of total bids made payable to Fresno Unified.
The substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments in accordance with Public Contract Code Section 22300 is permitted.

Notice is hereby given that the Fresno Unified School DISTRICT (“DISTRICT”) will receive sealed bids for Bid No. 25-46, Sunnyside High School CTE Building Improvements, to provide alteration to the existing weight room to convert to a classroom. Convert classrooms to student store and conference room.
DISTRICT hereby notifies all bidders that they will affirmatively ensure that in any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, creed, sex or national origin in consideration for award. The DVBE goal for the project is as follows: three percent (3%) of the dollar amount of the Contract.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the State Center Community College District (“District”) invites and will receive sealed bids (“Bids”) from general contractors (“Contractor(s)” or “Bidder(s)”) for the furnishing to District of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for the following project (“Project”):
PROJECT NAME: STUDENT SERVICES DATA CABLING UPGRADES, PHASE 2, FRESNO CITY COLLEGE, BID 2425-23C, CUPCCAA
PROJECT SCOPE:
The scope of work includes providing all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and related items required to complete the final phase (Phase 2) of a two-phase data refresh program. This phase focuses on cabling upgrades for the building. In this phase, the contractor will: Re-terminate and Re-identify Cabling: Re-terminate and re-identify all remote-side (“end2,” opposite the TR) existing Cat6 cabling, and install it onto new Cat6 jacks, faceplates, and related accessories provided by the contractor to complete the re-termination process. Remote-Side Labeling: Provide and install new remote-side labeling. Certification Testing: Perform TIA Standards-based Cat6 certification testing on all cables. Raceway Cleaning: Clean all existing and new raceways in accordance with the “Raceway Cleaning Requirements.”
Additionally, the Owner has coordinated with a third-party furniture moving contractor to relocate any furniture obstructing access to raceways or drops. The furniture will be returned to its original position once the contract work is complete and the cabling has been fully certified. Finally, the contractor will re-terminate all Student Services SMF (Single-Mode Fiber) on LC/APC connectors, following the Method A/B polarity scheme as specified in the attached minimum requirements.
BIDS DUE:
Bids will be received no later than April 8, 2025 prior to 2:00 pm, via PlanetBids.
All bids shall be submitted electronically through PlanetBids Vendor portal to be accepted. Pre-Bid Conferences:

Bids must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond, cashier’s check, or certified check for at least ten per cent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner, issued by an Admitted Surety (an insurance organization authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact business of insurance in the State of California during this calendar year), which shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract if awarded the work and will be declared forfeited, paid to, or retained by the Owner as liquidated damages if the bidder refuses or neglects to enter into the contract provided by the Owner after being requested to do so.
This Contract is subject to prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. If a bidder is not prequalified for this Project to bid on the Contract, Owner will not accept the bid. Any subcontractors the bidder lists for work requiring C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, or C-46 licenses must have current pre-qualified status with the Owner for this Project. Contractors not currently prequalified by the Owner for this Project must submit the prequalification application to the Owner by the date specified in the application. Bidders may prequalify through Quality Bidders. The Owner’s approved contractor prequalification list for this Project will be posted on the Facilities Planning webpage. All prequalification packets must be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m., May 2, 2025. Only bidders who have been prequalified on or before May 2, 2025, will be eligible to bid this project.
The Contractor shall be required to satisfy the conditions set forth in the contract and Education Code section 45125.2 regarding fingerprinting requirements and student safety prior to permitting any contact with students. Upon award of the contract and before beginning work, the Contractor shall be required to provide a verification of compliance with the student safety provisions of the contract and Education Code section 45125.2.
The Owner will require the successful Bidder to achieve the minimum goal of 3% DVBE (Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises) established in the bidding documents or to provide acceptable evidence of good faith efforts to do so accompanying the bid.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of the contract price, said bonds to be secured from an Admitted Surety (an insurance organization authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact business of insurance in the State of California during this calendar year), and satisfactory to the Owner. The surety insurers must, unless otherwise agreed to by Owner in writing, at the time of issuance of the bonds, have a rating not lower than “A-” as rated by A.M. Best Company, Inc. or other independent rating companies. Owner reserves the right to approve or reject the surety insurers selected by the successful bidder and to require the successful bidder to obtain bonds from surety insurers satisfactory to the Owner. The bidder will be required to furnish insurance as set forth in the Contract Documents.
The successful bidder will be allowed to substitute securities or establish an escrow in lieu of retainage, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, and as described in the General Conditions.
The Owner will not consider or accept any bids from contractors who are not licensed to do business in the State of California, in accordance with the California Public Contract Code, providing for the licensing of contractors. In accordance with Section 3300 of said Code, the Contractor shall have a license classification as described in the MULTIPLE PRIME CONTRACT SCHEDULE.
Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. Bidder shall state the public works contractor registration number on the designation of subcontractors form for each subcontractor performing more than one-half of one percent (0.5%) of the bidder’s total bid. No bid will be accepted nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor’s and subcontractors’ current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder’s sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid.
The lowest bid shall be determined as follows: The lowest total of the prime bid on the base contract and the bids on all additive items and all deductive items. (Public Contract Code section 20103.8, subd. (b).) The District reserves the right to add or deduct any of the additive or deductive items from the project or contract after the lowest responsible and responsive bidder is determined.
The Director of the Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California, in the manner provided by law, has ascertained the general prevailing rate per diem wages and rate for legal holidays and overtime work as set forth in the Agreement. The Contractor must pay for any labor therein described or classified in an amount not less than rates specified. Copies of the required rates are on file at the Owner’s business office and are available to any interested party on request.

NOTICE OF INVITATION
Notice is hereby given that the governing board (“BOARD”) of Fresno Unified School District (“DISTRICT”) will receive sealed responses for RFP No. 25-42, Fresh Juice and Dairy Products with Site Delivery Services. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is to be awarded based on best value criteria. The fixed price contract term is for a 1-year period with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year period. Award will be to the most responsible and responsive bidder whose RFP meets RFP specifications. This will be an all or none award to one Bidder.
A MANDATORY Virtual Pre-proposal conference is scheduled Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Bidders interested in responding to this RFP must attend in order to have their qualifications accepted as responsive. The virtual Pre-Proposal conference will be hosted via Microsoft Teams with options to join in online or over the phone. Instructions are posted on Procureware.
Proposals will be received prior to 2:00 P.M. on April 2, 2025 on Procureware, the District’s online purchasing portal https://fresnousdpurchasing.procureware.com/home. Proposals received later than the designated time and date will not be accepted. Facsimile (FAX) or e-mailed copies of submittals will not be accepted.
Fresno Unified School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any combination thereof and to waive any informality or irregularity in the RFP process.
