Qualified firms are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for professional consultant services for design and submittal of plans and specifications. The firm shall also acquire all related permits, complete any environmental assessment requirements, and provide engineering support during bidding and construction.

The City of Fresno (City) is requesting SOQs for professional Engineering consultant services to prepare construction plans, specifications and construction documents for the Midtown Trail Segment 1B Project.
The proposed project consists of design, bidding, and construction support services for the Midtown Trail Segment 1B project. The limits of this segment are from the Manchester Center entrance to Fresno Street, along the south side of Shields Avenue. This segment will consist of Class I multi-purpose trail per the City’s Standards, including landscaping, irrigation, lighting, and other trail amenities. A portion of this segment will be within Caltrans right-a-way and FID. The project will require on-ramp and off-ramp realignments at the State Route 41/Shields Interchange, and possible south abutment modifications to accommodate the proposed trail within Caltrans/FID/City right-of-way. Segment 1B design will require coordination with Segment 1A, Blackstone Avenue to Manchester Center Entrance, and Segment 2 improvements, currently in construction. Segment 1A is currently 100% designed and approved plans are anticipated by March 18, 2022. Due to the federal funding requirements for Segment 1A, the entire project including Segment 1B, will need to follow federal guidelines.

REQUEST FOR BIDS
In general, the Work for the Mendota Jr High SRTS project consists of the installation of overhead flashing beacons, signage, and demolition and reconstruction of minor concrete improvements at the intersection of 9th Street and Belmont Avenue, all within the City of Mendota.
1. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Mendota prior to 2:00:00 p.m. (local time) on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at City of Mendota located at 643 Quince Street, Mendota, CA 93640, and following said deadline all bids will be publicly opened and read.
