Notice is hereby given that the Fresno Unified School District (“DISTRICT”) will receive sealed bids for Bid No. 22-31, Brawley Service Center HVAC Replacement, to replace HVAC equipment at the Brawley Service Center.
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 1770 et seq of the California Labor Code, each worker of the contractor and any of its subcontractors engaged in work on the Project shall be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).

Which includes a local hiring program, wherein the contractor must use best faith efforts to meet the hiring percentage requirements for Journey-level and apprentice level project work hours. A copy of the Community Workforce Agreement is attached to the bid solicitation.

The Fresno Area Workforce Investment Corporation (FAWIC) is soliciting proposals from qualified licensed vendors to provide Janitorial Services for the FAWIC.
