Cornerstone Structural Engineering Group is pleased to announce the following promotions: Bobby Zermeño, SE successfully passed the California Structural Engineering Exam, obtaining his Structural Engineer (S.E.) license, and has been promoted to Senior Engineer. He joins Cornerstone’s five other licensed Structural Engineers and is a shareholder in the company.

Since graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fresno, Zermeño has quickly risen through the ranks and become an excellent Project Manager for numerous bridge replacement projects. He is currently active in a number of professional associations as well as acting District 5 & 6 Representative for the ACEC/Caltrans Structures Liaison Committee and co-chair of the ACEC/Caltrans Structures BIM Subcommittee.

Nicole Medina has been promoted to Marketing Manager. As Marketing Manager, Medina will focus on growing the business, fostering client relationships, maintaining corporate identity, and managing all marketing materials for the company. In addition to her marketing responsibilities, she works alongside firm leaders to recruit top engineering talent, maximize profits, and maintain efficient business processes.

Tyler Wilfong has been promoted to Structural Designer II. While working for Cornerstone Structural Engineering Group full time, he is obtaining a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and taking classes for a Master’s of Business Administration from California State University, Fresno.

Nicole Mahoney has returned to Cornerstone Structural Engineering Group as a Structural Designer II after graduating with a Master’s of Science in Structural Engineering from University of California, San Diego. Mrs. Mahoney is excited to apply what she has learned to projects she will work on in the office.
