The Patiño School of Entrepreneurship will host an information night for parents that will include a short presentation from Principal Blair Eliason Sagardia, followed by student-led tours of Fresno Unified’s newest high school.

The information night is for current eight and ninth grade students and their families. The district recently announced that it would add ninth grade for the coming academic year. This addition will allow students to transition immediately to Patiño from middle school and spend all four years of high school at the same campus.

The school currently serves tenth through twelfth grade.

“I would encourage parents interested in a cutting-edge high school that encourages entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration with other students and local businesses to learn more about Patiño School of Entrepreneurship at information night,” said Superintendent Bob Nelson.

Located at 2000 E. Cambridge Ave., the Patiño School opened in 2015. The Fresno Unified School aims for its students to develop, pitch and start their own businesses at graduation.

Information night will be held May 9 at 5:30. The school’s first class will graduate June 6 at 7 p.m. at the Tower Theatre.
