Paris Baguette, a popular bakery and cafe chain, will celebrate the grand opening of its Fresno location at 7945 N Blackstone Ave. in the Villaggio Shopping Center on Saturday. The location had a soft opening on March 22. 

There are 66 open locations across California, most of them in Southern California.

The north Fresno location will be the first in the Central Valley.

The bakery opened in 1988. It is based in South Korea and is under the SPC Group. 

The chain has a large social media presence with over 180,000 followers on Instagram. 

Paris Baguette offers cakes, sandwiches, salads, breads, seasonal specials and beverages, including coffee and teas.

The owners, Nikki and Anvar Tulyag, also own a Baskin-Robbins and are set to open another Paris Baguette location at the Marketplace at El Paseo later this year.
