Octapharma Plasma, Inc., the plasma collection subsidiary for Octapharma, has opened its newest collection center in Tulare, located at 180 E. Cross Ave., marking the fifth location in the Central Valley.
Octapharma, a leading plasma collection company, will bring approximately 50 jobs to its new Tulare location.
In addition to its newly opened facility, Octapharma also operates collection centers in Visalia, Clovis, Fresno and Bakersfield.
“Our new Tulare donation center provides another convenient location for Central Valley residents to give back to global patient communities who benefit from plasma-based therapies and treatments,” said Alice Stewart, Chief Operating Officer of Octapharma Plasma. “Our decision to further expand in this market is due, in part, to community feedback and support. We look forward to growing our impact locally and around the world.”
Octapharma incentivizes donations by compensating donors monetarily.
The center operates 19 California centers and more than 180 centers nationwide. Each year, more than 650,000 individuals donate plasma at Octapharma Plasma centers.
