The Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County has partnered with several local nonprofits to offer a year of free membership at its clubs.

The organization, which is celebrating 76 years of service in the community, is partnering with CalViva Health to offer free membership to children aged 6 to 18 at any one of the nonprofit’s 14 locations. Children and their families can receive vouchers from a number of nonprofits partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County in its “United for Impact” campaign.

Vouchers will be available at participating nonprofits after the official launch of the campaign on Sept. 23.

“Our goal is simple but powerful: open communication and collaboration lines between Fresno’s vital youth-based community organizations to share insights, improve systems, and better understand the challenges our youth and families face,” said Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County President and CEO Jason Hannold in a letter.

The nonprofit’s goal of communication and collaboration falls in line with its mission to inspire all young people in the community, particularly those in the most vulnerable environments, providing a safe, nurturing environment, as well as quality programs, services and opportunities.

There is no expiration date on vouchers; new club members’ application date will serve as the starting point for the free year of membership.

Under its new campaign, Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County has partnered with several nonprofits, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, C.A.S.A., Fresno Mission, Marjaree Mason Center, Poverello House and the Resiliency Center, aiming to increase cohesion among community-motivated nonprofits.
