Fresno-based advertising agency Nettra Media was recently recognized at the Web Marketing Association’s Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) for designing the Best Credit Union Website.

Nettra Media Director of Client Relations Dave Martin said the website was built for Kern School Credit Union, the largest credit union in Kern County with more than 150,000 members, a staff of 400, and $1.4 billion in assets.

“Our goal was to build the best credit union site in America,” Martin said.

In addition to the IAC award, Kern Schools and Nettra also recently won Gold from the American Advertising Federation’s Fresno chapter for “Best Marketing Campaign” and “Best local Television Self-Promotion Campaign.”

Patti Reed, the vice president of sales and business development for Kern Schools Credit Union, said the new website and marketing campaign has led to a better connection between members and potential members and the credit union.

“These awards reflect the hard work and dedication of both our team and Nettra, but what we’re most proud of is how we’re more effectively meeting our members’ needs online,” Reed said in a statement.

“We couldn’t be more pleased,” said Michael M George, the chief marketing and advocacy officer for Kern School Credit Union. “When hiring Nettra, our goal was to build a website that was very approachable and extremely easy to navigate, while at the same time celebrating our rich history in Kern County. Nettra hit it out of the park.”
