What started as an unassuming lunch between Nicala Madden and Tory Davis has blossomed into a booming online business — with a little help from Madden’s brother, Buffalo Bills quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen.
Madden and Davis, both from Firebaugh and mothers of two kids, launched Little Dreamers Company in June 2024 with the goal of making bamboo pajamas for boys that were just as stylish as girls pajamas.
Bamboo pajamas are made from fabric derived from bamboo fibers. The material is known for being soft and breathable and is also considered eco-friendly.
“It was so easy to shop for my daughter — everything is so cute and fashionable. But with boys’ clothes, I was having a hard time because they all had pretty much the same stuff — sharks, dinosaurs, the typical boy stuff,” Davis said. “It wasn’t really cute to me. We were talking about that, and both of us loved bamboo pajamas. And I was like, ‘You know what? What if we do bamboo pajamas, but we make it very cute, so it competes with all this girl stuff that’s going on.’”
The idea came together quickly, with both Davis and Madden eager to build something that could one day replace their corporate jobs. Madden left her role with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in June to focus on Little Dreamers Company. Davis still works at her corporate job for WiseConn USA.
Madden also works as a Realtor for Realty Concepts.

The company’s most significant sales spike came unexpectedly last month when Allen, Madden’s younger brother, posted a photo of the brand’s “17 Sideline Snuggles” set on his Instagram story to his nearly 2 million followers, captioned, “SO proud of you, sis.”
Madden was in the middle of watching her son get a haircut at a local barber shop after she “butchered” her previous attempt to cut her son’s hair in the past, when her phone continued to ring.
“My brother had told me a month ago he wanted to support our business, but we really hadn’t talked about it since. Then, out of nowhere, he just decided to post it,” Madden said.“All of a sudden my phone just started vibrating and vibrating. I started seeing all of these Shopify orders come through — it was nonstop.”
After the post, which picked up national attention, primarily from Bills fans, they experienced a 2000% increase in sales.
“There’s been so much love and so much support from Buffalo fans everywhere, and they’re just really excited,” Madden said.

Even before Allen’s post, Little Dreamers Company had a loyal following.
“A lot of grandmas shop with us, wanting to buy pajamas for their grandkids,” Madden said, also adding that customers have praised the soft material of the pajamas.
For now, they are sticking with Buffalo Bills-inspired designs but has received requests from fans of other NFL teams.
Davis added that seasonal drops for Halloween and Christmas are in the works.
Their next big shipment is expected to come around September 10, three days after Allen and the Bills open up their 2025 regular season.
“We have actually recruited some of our closest friends,” Madden said. “There’s going to be about 15 of us to help us fulfill these orders, because we cannot do it alone. So we are going to be paying them in pizza and wine.”
Davis’ and Madden’s advice to mothers who want to follow their dreams but don’t know where to start is to just go for it.
Neither Madden nor Davis had any prior experience in manufacturing or running a business, but they jumped in anyway. They taught themselves from scratch, often waking up early before their day jobs, working late and devoting spare time to research, all while doing their most important job– being mothers.
